Incorrigible

As love loves a fool –
wherefore he cannot be held accountable
for the indiscretions of his heart.
Thenso may his sins be my own salvation –
As they have been the transgressions
- Of mine

Desire

A
s is
the wind in my hair,
So is the song in my heart.

That you are the inspiration
of my longing.
Then so how do I promise; to never say
“I love you”
When all I can pledge
– Is today

Plush

Thus awakening
in arms womb - Embraced
Timelessly locked within an amniotic warmth
Immaculate; I am without condition.
Therefore suspended I am found weightless
Except for the delicate influence -
Of a whisper

Soul

S
uch as you are

the embodiment - of my heart

That e’en as my mortality's coil is fleeting,

It is your love which sustains me

Mayhap we were merely the victims of fate

and yet could I have held you once,

I would have held you forever
If e'er I was destined to hold you
At all

Oceansize

Were I a river
would I run to the sea
That I am ocean
won’t you flow to me
Thus send me your heart
sealed in a dream
Cast out ‘pon the waves
finding its way
whereever
- I be

Temptress

Beset by loneliness
Her heart could not be sated by one alone
Mayhap love is only as blind as we choose it to be
That perhaps my affections were merely the short comings of my sight
Therefore she stands blameless for the insecurities of her heart
As I am left to pay for the crimes of her passion
Thus how do I love you now, how did you love me ever
When you were always loving
- Another

Kiss

To fall upon you
Is to be the rain upon your pond
A slow trembling wave which stirs softly
The serene surface of your soul
Radiating upon the body of your being
Gently caressing unto your shore
Therefore wrapping myself around you
I instill within you an anticipation
As to where next
- I fall

Rain

W
anton whispers rhythmical;
play gently ‘gainst my window’s pain
Endless kisses lyrical, when will I see you ‘gain
Sing me to sleep with sonnets soft solace
Sweetening my sadness with your sorrow’s sway
E’en come the sun that we be undone
We will always have -
Today

Peach

Honeyed flesh
Caress my tongue with ambiance
Thus soft is your kiss - as velvet as your touch
Brandied warm and smooth
Lay your wine glistening ‘pon my lips
That golden is your effervesce - intoxicating
As I embrace the morning
In your dew

Seashell

My little heart of pink pearl
bourn from bed of coral
Deepest in blue I remember you
a shellfish with a soul
Tiny crustacean cerulean elation
found is your way to me
‘Pon whiten sands into my hands
solitary siren sad of sea
Shallows roared washed ashore
abandoned and alone
yet ‘tis within your kiss I remiss
your mother calls you -
Home
